China: Visa-Free Policy for These 6 Countries

In an effort to enhance international collaboration and support its ambitious development goals, China has announced a temporary expansion of its visa-free entry policy. Effective from December 1, 2023, ordinary passport holders from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Malaysia will be granted visa-free entry to China for stays of up to 15 days. This policy applies to individuals visiting for business, tourism, or to visit family and friends. Transit travelers are also eligible for visa-free entry.

This initiative is part of China’s broader commitment to promoting international cooperation and facilitating people-to-people exchanges. By expanding its visa-free entry policy, China aims to foster stronger ties with key partners and contribute to a more interconnected global community.

Individuals who do not fall under the visa exemption requirements will still need to apply for a visa before entering China. For more information on China’s visa policies, please visit the website of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
