Last Friday, fashion brands from Futian district, Shenzhen, in South China’s Guangdong province, made a notable debut on the runway of the Autumn/Winter Milan Fashion Week, held at the prestigious Milan Royal Palace in Italy. This marked the district’s first collective entry into the official schedule of the esteemed fashion event, known as the “Shenzhen Futian Fashion Festival.”
The event showcased the creativity and diversity of these rising labels on a global stage. Three brands – NEXY.CO, KAVON, and CHLOSIO – presented their latest designs and concepts, offering a fresh perspective on contemporary fashion to the Milan Fashion Week audience.
Futian district is a hub for fashion innovation, boasting over 2,000 brands. These brands hold a significant market share, exceeding 50% in class-A shopping malls across China’s major cities. This debut at Milan Fashion Week highlights Futian’s ambition to become a major player in the global fashion scene, showcasing the talent and potential of its local design houses.
