The 2024 China Internet Civilization Conference is scheduled to take place on August 28 and 29 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, according to the event’s organizers. The conference will focus on promoting the spirit of the times and fostering civility in cyberspace.

Yang Jianwen, deputy chief of the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and the Cyberspace Administration of China, announced at a press conference that the conference will include an opening ceremony and a main forum, as well as various sub-forums. Additionally, the conference will include discussions on the impact and regulation of artificial intelligence and online law enforcement, aiming to ensure a healthy business environment within the digital economy.
