The upcoming Eighth Conference of Chinese and African Entrepreneurs, set to take place in Beijing as part of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), will host around 1,000 business representatives from both regions. The conference is a major platform for promoting investment, trade, and industrial collaboration, with participation exceeding expectations.
Organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China’s Ministry of Commerce, this high-level economic and trade event will feature representatives from 48 African countries and 408 businesses, including small and medium-sized enterprises from sectors like energy, mining, finance, and emerging industries such as telecommunications and biomedicine.
The event underscores the growing China-Africa economic partnership, with both sides benefiting from shared expertise—China offering advanced technology and Africa presenting opportunities in resources and development. The conference aims to enhance cooperation by fostering communication and synergy between business leaders from both continents.
