Georg Hoffmann-Kuhnt, a 57-year-old German prosthetist, has spent over 17 years in China, helping patients regain mobility through custom-made artificial limbs. His Meide Yanyuan Studio for Rehabilitation, located in a serene, garden-like setting in northern Beijing, is designed to provide comfort and aid recovery for amputees. Having identified gaps in China’s prosthetic industry, Hoffmann-Kuhnt focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care. Since opening his studio, he has helped dozens of patients each year, striving to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.
