Captivating Sightseeing Tours of Shenzhong Link Set Sail from Shenzhen

Shenzhen, China – Travelers aboard the Ocean Rainbow vessel now have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of the Shenzhong (Shenzhen-Zhongshan) Link, an engineering marvel set to officially open later this month. The tours, which depart from the Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal and the Shekou Cruise Homeport, offer a unique perspective of the new link.

The round-trip journey from the Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal in Bao’an District lasts 100 minutes. Tourists will pass under the Shenzhong Link’s main bridge and participate in various on-board activities. This route, the first maritime sightseeing tour in Bao’an, also passes the Xiwan Mangrove Wetland Park, a top scenic spot in the district, and the Dachan Bay Terminal.

“If you take the trip at 5 p.m., you will be able to see the most beautiful sunset if weather permits,” said Peng Wei, operations manager of the Ocean Rainbow vessel operated by the Shenzhen Oceanus Group. “Tourists can also see the Western Artificial Island from a close distance.” The Western Artificial Island is one of two artificial islands that are part of the mega link, serving as crucial interchanges for bridge and tunnel traffic.

Another sightseeing route, departing from the Shekou Cruise Homeport in Nanshan District, offers views of the Shekou Container Terminal, Mazhou Island, Qianhai Bay, and Dachan Bay. This ferry service runs every Friday at 8 a.m. and tickets are priced at 198 yuan (US$27.26) per person.

These tours not only provide a grand view of the Shenzhong Link but also showcase some of Shenzhen’s key coastal landmarks, making them a must-see attraction for both locals and tourists.
