In the first half of this year, the “eastern corridor” of the China-Europe freight route has seen a record high with 2,899 trains transporting 304,000 standard containers. This marks a year-on-year increase of 5.1% in train numbers and 3.4% in container volume.

On Tuesday, the container transfer yard at the Suifenhe station in Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province was bustling with operations for the China-Europe Railway Express, reflecting the growing demand and efficiency of this key trade route.
